They laughed. They jumped. They left Egypt with shouts of joy. They pondered gold and silver from the Egyptians.

They knew this is God's salvation, and they were heading toward the land of promise.
They knew this is God's grace after years of slavery.
They knew this is God's answer to their prayers in thousands of tearing nights.

But now, they doubt and revolt, in front of the Red Sea, the only way the can go into.

"What's wrong with God's plan? Is it just a lie? Or is He just mocking us? Why does He place us where we are now?"

Indeed, exodus is not the end of redemption, but the start. It is not the beginning of a happily-ever-after life, but the first step of the discipling journey with Him.

"I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD."

Dear Lord, grant me strength and help my little faith. Amen.
